What car parts are worth removing for scrap?

I have two cars that I am hauling away for scrap. What parts should I remove and sell seperately?|||i have two car,s that i am hauling away for scrap.what parts should i remove and sell seperately|||I second Moe's answer. (Smart person!) Try this!|||you're asking us. If you don't know what you can sell and where you can sell it, you might as well haul it all away for scrap. I've been very successful selling parts for cars because I get intimately involved and know the value of each part. Do you?|||If it's a FORD... NONE OF IT|||Complete engine, mirrors, lights!

Depends on car type too.

Have a peep at ebay. It would give you an idea.|||depends on the condition. Engine and trans if still good. Advertise that you are parting out and see if anyone calls.|||catalytic converter for the trace amounts of platinum inside.|||wheels, stereo, seats, motor, stuff like that.|||transmission and radiator n probably heads/intake manifold....trans is mostly aluminum..radiator is copper..heads on some carz is aluminum also..depends how much work u wanna mess with it..|||Wheels, interior parts, seats.|||Anything that is aluminum or copper, like the radiator, transmission case, heads, intake manifold are going to get a good price at the scrapyard. If you want to sell parts to people for repairs then just run an ad saying that you want to "part out" the cars, people will be able to just take what they want. The more you take off of it, the less the junkyard will give you when you scrap them.|||everything you can possibly unfasten or cut off the car. the windshield, the speedometer, even the metal brake lines are worth something.|||Don't forget the computer if it has one. Also don't forget the fenders and doors and glass.
