What is the best car parts book for a beginer?

what i mean is what book will have discription of a car part and a picture.

i need this book so that one of my friends car learn the insides and out of a car.

please have the book be very descripted and have pictures of the part.|||Every car has a service manual. It's a book usually over 1000 pages and specific for the year, make and model of the car. It's has explosive views, intructions how to dissamble, specialty tools needed, maintenance schedules, part numbers, basically everything!|||Well if your trying to learn about cars in general, i dont think any single book has as much generic info as "Auto Repair For Dummies".

Now if you want to become a tech but cant find the time or money to go to a school, you need to order the "Master Tech" instructional series (fair warning these get expensive)

If you want info on a specific car, I prefer the Haynes manuals over the Chiltons guides.
