i want to get a job somewhere where i can get a discount on car parts. any ideas? im only 16.|||If you are willing, then don't let anyone tell you that you can't. Try auto part stores and talk to your school counselor.
Call PULL A PART and tell them the same thing that you just posted. You will need to talk this over with your parents also.Check with your local [phone] wrecking yards. Most auto repairmen love to see young people willing to work and learn. Plus working on cars can be very rewarding,it gets lonesome at times.
Go for it and a 'NO' answer today doesn't always pan out to be a 'NO' tomorrow!! GOOD LUCK and MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!
"BRILLIANT"!!!!|||A local junkyard. |||auto part store where u live|||Auto part store. Murrays, Auto Zone, NAPA, O'Reilly's, etc.|||Offer to volunteer at a local independent shop. Tell them you will do some grunt work, basic cleanup and whatnot. In return ask them to teach you when they can on how to work on cars, or naturally they will need an extra hand to help with a procedure, and you will learn that way. Also ask them if you can order parts through them. They might have a local agreement with some of the autoparts stores and then you can piggyback your needs with theirs.
