I own a 1987 SAAB with low mileage. Now that GM is going to stop making the SAAB, how hard will it be to get car parts? I have a private mechanic who specializes in European cars, though I don't drive it a lot, so it's mileage is low considering and so far it hasn't been hard to get parts. I assumed that parts weren't made by SAAB any longer, but I'm wondering, will this make it harder? I just hang onto it because I like it.|||type into search box
1987 SAAB parts
1987 SAAB name of part
1987 SAAB water pump
just so one knows gm dont make many parts they put them together most parts come from little places machine shops so even if they was to stop selling any car parts might be around 40 years some even longer you can still find part for a T models fords 1908 through 1927 1987 shouldnt be a problem|||Auto makers are only required to provide parts for ten years so I am thinking unless there is a strong aftermarket on this car your going to be hard pressed to find needed parts|||They are at all the auto parts stores.|||you still will be able to get the parts you need
