Car parts???

im looking to get a power steering pump replaced and i am wondering if you would recommend a rebuilt part (cheaper) or the new part|||Billy.......reman parts are ok the warranty coverage on part may be less than new....the automotive repair industry have been using reman parts for years....most of the time when theres a part with a core involved its a reman part|||If you're car is older I would go with the rebuilt. It doesn't pay to spend twice as much on a part for an old car when it can be had for much less. I have been using rebuilt parts in 2 of our cars for about 4 years and none of them have failed. This includes an a/c compressor and a power steering pump too.|||Reman parts are just as good as new, but if you get it you will have to replace the pully. You will have to get a puller and remove and install the pully. . This is weather you get a rebuilt or a new one. It does not come with a pully.
