Where do i look for broken car parts/cars that are profitable?

my father just opened up a car repair shop and was wondering where i could find broken cars/car parts that i can make a decent amount of money. Im pretty sure water damage isnt profitable but im not sure. give me your advice, thank you.|||Advertise on Craig's list for junk cars, if it's something that can be easily repaired then you could resell the car after it's fixed.|||Junk yards and used car lots who take in old pieces of crap in on trade. They got to sell them to someone and they can't sell them to retail customers.
