How to sell a car for parts?

I decided to sell the 1980 Mercedes for parts. As I posted a week ago if anybody remembers, the car is pretty rusty and I just discovered that the drivers side floor is falling through. I was originally going to sell it as a car but decided that it would be easier to sell for parts. Does anybody know how can do this (price wise and other) without getting ripped off, and without ripping somebody else off?|||car parts do sell on Ebay and other auction sites.

check out various websites - remember to make sure the buyer pays postage, so know the weight of each part wrapped. No point selling something for 99p if it costs you 2 pound to post|||Do check on some site, some magazine, also friends of you. If you already fix the price, call the hobbies or used part seller. Or you can ask your trusted mechanic to sell the parts for you.|||dude, ok firstly my grandpa has 4 Mercedes around 1980 ... and he only bought them for like 2k each... he thinks in years they will be worth heaps but im not sure about that.... I think your best option is to take the wheels off and take the badges off and the motor and sell those things... however your best option would be to sell it on ebay and start the price at 99 cents and just say f***k it who cares what i get for it.. coz you wont get much.... YEWW|||Put a sign on it
